The recipient of the Rush-Copley's 2010 Quality/Safety Award is dedicated to improving outcomes and setting high standards for the quality of patient care, including being an effective teacher to medical staff, nursing and others.  The recipient of the 2010 Quality/Safety Award is Mark Schinsky, M.D., for his dedication as Chair of the Quality Committee and as physician champion for Rush-Copley's new Total Joint Center.  Under Dr. Schinsky's leadership and tireless efforts, Rush-Copley recently received Disease Specific Certifications for Total Hip and Total Knee from the Joint Commission.
