Born and raised in Aurora, Dr. Huberty received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Illinois Benedictine College in 1969 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1974. He served his surgical internship at the University of Iowa and completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Illinois in 1979. He has served as president of the medical staff at Provena Mercy Center and as president of the Kane County Medical Society.
