Dr. Velagapudi received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Mathematics with Honors, Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University of Chicago in 1983. He earned his Doctor of Medicine with Honors from the University of Illinois School of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Velagapudi completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic residency at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago in 1992. His special interest is hand surgery.
